An Education

A film which clearly relates to the period - late 50s/early 60s of its setting - schoolgirl aiming for Oxford has affair with older man, loses her virginity, tastes the sophistication of his lifestyle - till it turns out he's employed by a Rachmann type landlord. Eventually she gets back on track.

Neat details, like singing along to Juliette Greco songs, and surreptitious smoking with her friends.

(I caught this one on the flight, so missed some of the dialogue because of engine noise and poor earphones!)
